What tires do you have?

Just wondering, I will be getting new tires probably next spring, currently still got the stock perellis on now.

Thinking about either perellis again, but was also looking at the high performance toyos or going cheep and ordering the cheepies from AM, can't remember what they are called though, summitomo?

Anyway what u got and what did u pay?

Sumitomo HTR Z-III and Continental Extreme Contact DW are very good performers for a reasonable price. The Contis are much better in the wet, and a bit nicer ride, if those are considerations.

Got Toyo T1-R, really good traction on wet and dry... A bit noisy

Just put Michelin HydroEdge on mine and am happy with the choice so far, at least I don`t get the flat spotting in the morning that I was getting with the stock Pirellis.

I got those Sumitomos HTR Z III from AM, they seem to be good tires, I've got no complaints. They're great if you want to do some incognito high acceleration take offs....very little noise when briefly spinning the tires and almost no black marks left for evidence. :D

HydoEdge are amazing tires, got those on my other car. Great for winter driving, you'll get tons of mileage out of them and the wear is nicely even.

I have 35k on my perellis now? How many kliks did you guys get?

I'm running Goodyear Eagle. I don't think I would do it again.

fast Ed 07-11-2012 07:47 PM

Which Eagle? They have about 10 different models of Eagle, that is a name that goes on pretty much all of the Goodyear performance tires. Some of them are quite good, others, not so much. The F1 GS-D3 works well, I had those on my T-Bird SC.

cheers

Mine are still good & stacked in the garage. I think they have somewhere around 18-20k. I just wanted different rims and of course since I was doing that I figured I'd get something wider for the back, so then I needed new tires. :D

nitto`s here they are the upgrade at american muscle. My Mustang had Michelin pilots they would cry for traction but the nitto are very sticky I have had no compliants with them. nt 55 i think is the model and I would buy them agian I have drag raced and road course, street, with them and love em.
