I considered driving mine in the winter but after thinking it through I bought a 2002 Saturn SL with 116 KM for 2500 bucks. I paid good money for my GT/CS and it will stay in great shape and have less wear and tear by storing her in the winters.

The wife has an '04 Envoy for the winter, and I am picking up my new work truck on Friday(2013 GMC 1500 z71 Ext cab). I'm actually thinking about buying my old work truck, it's a 2010 z71 with 160,000 kms and I can get it for about $10,500, but I really don't need another vehicle and not sure if I could make any money on it.

Nokians. I have used them on the Mustang in the winter in Edmonton.

It's in decent shape, but it has the typical GM knock when you start it up, and sometimes it takes quite a while for it to go away. It is the SLE so cloth seats, but does have driver side power seat. The paint has some chips, and with my work it does see a lot of gravel, but our company has strict maintenance rules, so oil changes every 5,000 kms and tire rotation every 10,000. I'll try to clean it up a bit this weekend and send ya some pics. Thanks.

I intend on my 2013 GT to be a year round daily driver. I am going to go with the stock 18" All Season Pirelli's and if bad snow is expected I will hitch a ride with the wife in the Kia that has snowtires. Hopefully this plan pans out.

I am worried about this, I will eventually get snows probably just on steelies but still too much of cash crunch to buy now. Dude I hope I will make it thru the winter, can only hope it was like last year.

Yeah last winter was non existent. I bought winter tires for my G6 last year and could have gone without. But i like to be prepared. My baby stays in the Garage even though it kills me to not drive it.

Just take care and be aware, sometimes it others that can cause you pain.
