Alright just another update I cut the egr tube today and got the intake manifold in but I made a mistake and reused the stock manifold bolts which are slightly longer than the one that were sent with the kit( brain fart). And when I went to torque them to spec I accidentally broke one off in the head :( so I will have to pick up a tap and die set and with any luck I will be able to get it out,if not I will be in a world of hurt.

That really sucks, hope it works out.

Hey guys so things went from bad to worse I broke off an ez out in the bolt on cylinder head so I had a friend weld onto the bolt and 17 nuts later the bolt is still buried and I don't think it isn't coming out. I wanted to know what everyone thought of bolting the manifold up without one bolt. The bolt in question is the 2nd bolt in on the drivers side. I can't afford to buy new heads at the moment so that option is out of the question. My choices at this point are bolt everything back up an hope for no leaks or park it all summer and hope to swap the heads out over the winter :( Any thoughts guys ?

Tha really sucks huge!! If you plan just to get threw the summer, use the Permatex Ultra Copper Maximum Temperature RTV Silicone Gasket Maker.

Lots of drag racers use this stuff on their headers.
Once you run a bead around the port on each side of the gasket that you are using, tighten all the nuts/studs down, and let it be for the recommened cure time.
Should get you threw the summer, or close too.

Ok guys I got everything bolted back together and she started up just fine , so far no leaks fingers crossed. By the time I read your post I already had the manifold bolted up so I didn't use any rtv sealant on it. All I have left to is change out the throttle cable and throw a cap on the egr coming off the header . Here is a pics let me know what you guys think? https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater

Hopefully it will hold for you, but usually with one not tight, chances are it will leak, and drive you nuts.
Just see a red x, no pic.
