Anything else than supercharge or turbo???

I think the most hp you'll get with an n/a 3valve stock bottom end is about 400rwhp. with a forced induction anywhere in 400+to 600+hp.also ford crate engines available 4valve 4.6L maybe even supercharged version, and maybe 5.4L supercharged. big bucks though!

A fairly cheap option to a crate engine as well is buying a lightning motor and swapping it in. I've heard they swap in relatively easily, they are much cheaper than a crate and they are very relaible motors. 340hp 390 tq stock and that can be increased very quickly with these motors.

Try this for about as much NA as you will get from these motors. Not cheap though, when compared to a blower.YouTube - 350 rwhp N/A 2006 Mustang Gt

I woudlnt go by this you tube video, either the tune on that mustang is way off, or the parts they picked arent working together at all! A mustang with that much done to it should be making quite a bit more than 350rwhp. With these mods it should be close to 400rwhp, there are guys running these same mods only without the heads, and making 380rwhp. Also the price for these mods arent that much, the only real expensive piece is the new heads, which when only making 350rwhp isnt necessary at all the stock heads are more than enough. Cam $300.00, intake & chip $600.00, exhaust $400.00, headers $350.00, xpipe $350.00. Dyno tune $200.00. These mods should get you close to 350rwhp and total price $2200.00 And the only thing you may need to be installed at a dealer is the cam, although it isnt too hard of an install, everything else can be done with minimal mechanical experience. The most you should spend on these with labor about $4000.00
This is still priced under the retail price of a forced induction kit. Plus you wont make anymore than 400rwhp on a stock 3v 4.6L. Even after the kit is on you still should put exhaust headers and a cam along with new plugs and a dyno tune. All together for a forced induction kit done right! (In other words you wont cook your 4.6 after 1 year) you'll be spedning close to $8000.00

First of all your pricing is way off for 3V engines. Secondly, there is no way "a lot" of guys are running 380rwhp with those modes unless they are stroking the bottom end to 5.0l. JDM was getting 400rwhp with a stroker and many mods. Please check your facts.

here , say it with me boys and girls. turbo . lmao. depending on how crafty you are with tools and have time. you can build your own turbo set up very cheap. follow somebody elses set up or you can get a already built set up cheap. for the price and the pain in the *** it would be to put a 5.4 ( , wiring hassels , ect) in there and only gain minimal gains i would do a turbo set up. imo.
