cdc shaker with supercharger?

i have a 07 gt/cs with a cdc shaker and want to get a supercharger but which one will work the best with the shaker with the least mod to the shaker. not looking for 1000hp or anything just a couple extra hp for the heck of it

Wouldn't a Vortech or Procharger be better? Any roots style blower would require actually physical modding of the shaker, whereas the aforementioned units would just take adjustments to piping?

Just how I view it, because doesnt the shaker sit on top of the current manifold, and a kb or whipple would take the manifolds place.

I agree.

A guy I know has an '05 GT with a CDC shaker kit on it.
There is no way you will be able to run a roots style SC and keep the shaker set up (on his car at least).
The piping alone is different so that in itself is a challenge let alone a shaker sitting directly on top of the blower housing. I just do not see the clearance but again this is based on the car I saw.

A centri blower is another story though. You may have some challenges with the plumbing but there will be no clearance issues to interfere with the shaker itself. I think this could be easily done.

I think it would be sweet.

Good Luck.

That Saleen setup is sure nice, the price tag not so much. I recently looked at an 05 GT with a shaker and a ProCharger, it looked very clean.
