GOOD LUCK
Only issue I see with this kit is that it does not upgrade the fuel system at all. It is really pushing the limits of the stock fuel pump IMHO. It looks the most like a factory option, but costs the same as the other full kits.

I spent a year researching and price comparing all of the 'roots' style blowers and came down to the eForce, KB or Whipple. If you then look at what all the kits give you and their costs and factor in the fact that at some point you may want to upgrade to more power, the Whipple kit came out ahead for me.

Depends how much power your looking for and if you can be happy with your results. If your only wanting 500 RWHP, you can do that easily with either a Whipple, Kenne Bell, Saleen blower, Roushcharger, Edelbrock, MagnaCharger, whatever. If you want to eventually go big boost (20-26 psi) the KB 2.8 mammoth is the way to go. Turbo's are awesome also. Centrifugals are great too. It just depends on what you want. Low speed torque on the Twin Screws is very addicting.

ford racing superchargers for the 2005+ mustang are made by Whipple are then not, im also trying to decided on the supercharge to go with and i want one that upgradeable from 500hp to about 700hp. and i do realize at 600 ponies and up a forged bottom end is required for the 4.6 3v, but we all need a stating point, at the moment moment im looking at the hod rod cams and the CNC ported head from ford racing, im also waiting to see what ford does for a ford racing 5.0L long block. to many options and not enough money.

I thought that the 4.6 is good for around 450 before bottom end work is required? Also heard that the stock clutch is only good for around 400 450 ish.

450 to 475 depending on tune is the max generally recommended with stock pistons and rods. My stock clutch lasted less than three months after installing the Whipple HO on my stock motor.
