Won't work for sure, for many reasons. The 5.4 has a taller deck height, which makes it wider - the intake won't fit, and there was never a factory 2v or 3v blower intake. 2,3,4 valve heads all had their own port configuration, so you can't swap manifolds that way, either.
There are a few aftermarket blowers -Saleen, Roush, etc. that are the best way to go, unless you have the ability to make your own lower intake manifold.

GT500 blowers will fit on a 4.0l V6 if you want it to (and it has been done), the most of the work is in creating the custom lower intake. There is a fellow in the US on another forum that has installed a GT500 blower on his 4.0l V6 and I think he was about 3500.00 and many months into the project. So to answer the question....yes I don't doubt you can do it but why not just get a kit for your car and be done with it. Might I recommend an Edelbrock E-Force? Don't forget that when you want more boost you have to rebuild your 4.6 to take the pressure or your stock rods will go south and likely window your block in the process.

Kenny bell makes an awesome product. It's worth the money. It will cost you just as much in custom intakes and pulleys and it doesn't come with a tune. Kenny will sent you 2 with a switch.

you don`t need a custom intake all you need is lower intake they don`t change the size of the supercharger base to fit engines they change the intake mounting when it is used on more than one engine in same and if you want to just look for cobra heads and intake if the ports are not the same oh heres the ebay number for intake 270479266012 ends in 8 days same.And 4.6 and 5.4 do use same head but valve cover are tricky 99-00 are windsor 01-03 are romeo and so on just do your homework

Which 4.6 does he have...there are many different port shapes and valve configurations. They won't all work.

you should check because they don`t make that many like 3 and the diffence between 2 are vavle covers just like 302 and 351 interchange so do 5.4 and 4.6 people don`t get it they don`t make a bunch of heads for same famliy of engine might change port size and height but not bolt pattern thats why it takes a drill and tap to make a boss engine been do this along time and bolts keep be on been bolts and i`m sort of drunk so spelling might be wrong block is what makes it wider NOT HEADS OR INTAKE its the DECK HEIGHT
