4.6L Cam Talk

I'm now in the process of getting together everything I need for my motor build.

I must thank both Pat from Steeda.ca and Scott from VT Engines for their assitance during this process.

I'm seriously considering a Stage 2 cam. Anyone else running a stage 2 cam from any company? I am told it's quite streetable, but I'd like to hear some real life experiences.

Thanks

I was planning to run a set of crower stage 3 cams in my 4V motor.... but for a 2V motor the stage 2 VT cams are excellent, just remember to order the spring package at the same time

Thanks, just got the pricing for the parts. Look like a good choice.

All our camshaft grinds were designed for street driven applications. This is why our duration isn't overkill like some of the other companies. We did something different than any other company....... we kept duration moderate, but tightened the c/l on the cams. We are working on some new grinds (stage3's for both blower and n/a) that will be more strip/weekend warrior. All our profiles are designed in house by Jim.

Well, I finally made up my mind and went with the VT Stage II cams. Thanks to Scott and Jim for their great advice.
