Problem with Vinyl is when waxing a fine white line can follow along the stripe, like any groove....

Dang, that striped-white looks mean.
I had my car in to replace the gastank and just went to pick it up. I saw the striped white one in person. I have to say, when viewing online or on TV, I find the white looks the best - but in person, I think mine is the nicest I've seen so far (even though I loved the white - it's definitely the 2nd nicest one I've seen!)

Also, I have to stand by my earlier suggestion to Kristina. I think the windveil blue stripes would look way better than sonic blue stripes on the white stang.

cool thanks for the suggestion. i'll have to see once i get the car and see it in person. it's going to be hard for me to own a white car after owning a pearl black one for 5.5 years. there's nothing sexier then a clean black car...i was pretty fanatical about cleaning it (i used Zaino) and it was nice to see my efforts pay off. i'm worried that i'll not be able to get white "wet" and "deep" looking.

oh well - i'll just be happy to see the car.

BTW, i sent Ford a STRONGLY worded letter regarding the inability to order a Spoiler Delete for the 05s - previous models you could and in the US, you still can. it makes no sense to me and i'm not happy about having paint work done so soon after getting a new car. i'll see if they respond.

Hopefully your order won't "mysteriously" get pushed back now by Ford

It's Here

Hi Everyone,

I got a call from my salesman yesterday around 3:00PM saying something big and white arrived for me.

So naturally at 4:30PM I was there.

My predelivery pics are too large so I'll post some smaller ones tomorrow.

Good!

Hopefully my dealer placed my order with Ford before going out of business.

Took some pics of my 05gt tonight. Will develop the film tommorrow and scan (hope they turn out). Colorado red with black 70 Boss 302 stripe package. They painted my stripes afterwords so the black is fairly flat. Already used a paint cleaner and polish, this weekend wax
