E-tests are required everywhere in ontario as far as I know. Which for a vehicle insured as a classic and driven less then 5k a year I believe is ridiculous. Theres always the "know a mechanic" etest though, or for foxbodies the fact that cars 87 and older dont need to have etests, last time i looked 87-93s look pretty similar....
I didnt know of this plug, although my timing was initialy advanced and we set it back to stock. So will removing this plug create better results then stock timing with plug not removed? Thanks.

yes because with the connector still plugged in, your computer will add timming as the e test is done. especially during the cruising part.

etests are not required in all of ontario... in northern ontario, towns are small and far apart so basically anything north of barrie doesnt require an etest, its a glitch in the system but understandable considering people who live up north would have to travel hours to get to a drive clean facility. so if you love modern muscle cars, move up north, cause you can tinker with your cars without having to worry about your emissions system.

I live in Barrie. Looks like I should have moved a mere 10 km North. The 10 km would have been worth no more e-tests.
