I'm a twin turbo C4 auto guy now, but back then I was rocking the stock T5
Biggest mistake most guys make with these cars is too much exhaust too soon. I did that through stock ported headers and stock h-pipe dumped after the cats. 3.73 gears. LOTS of gutting and lots of practice banging gears.

That is good to know. I have a Aod right now but hope to put a T5 in soon. I also would like to do a gear swap but where I live I need a gear for long roads

I'll find out soon with the twin turbo set up. Last time it was out it coasted to a 13.1@116 letting off at the 1000ft mark (blew an intercooler pipe). Since then I have added a larger thottle body, ported stock heads, and a C4 auto, bigger intercooler and pipes, drag suspension and slicks. Also have some bigger injectors. If it can get enough fuel I don't see why a 10 second pass would be out of the question.
