Swap info
Hello,I have a few questions that I hope you guys can help me with.
First, I am Installing a fresh 306 into a prior 4 cyl car and I have everything from a donor car. But I want to know what it takes to eliminate the smog pump and a/c,other than just buying the eliminator pulleys.....will I gain any benifit from doing this and also Im a little skeptical as the car has to go through emissions......any information would be great.

If it's a street car then I doubt the performance you're going to gain would be worth it. Obviously emissions is an issue, but fairly easy to get around. I think the bigger issue would be getting stopped by MOE. They will check for the smog pump and check to see that it's attached correctly. I think the ticket is what? $400?
Not sure though...

Really only thing your gonna gain is wieght savings...
Do your A/C Elim. but I would keep the Smog pump, cops are board with nothing to do other then hand out useless tickets (Traffic cops)
