Most V8's were close to their end of life at 70,000 miles back then.

I believe the 140 speedo was quite common but not sure of the specifices

My father owned a 68 gt 350 fastback with a 390 cu in, and a 69 fastback with the 390 and both cars had the 120 mph speedo. Most of our car has been restored ( floor boards, cowling under windshield with stainless, rear quarters, most of the real trouble spots on this car are new except front driver's side frame rail) with the exception of paint and engine work which we are doing at present. Improper storage seems to be the cause of our problems. Having all the paperwork has been a real plus! We should be driving this gem sometime this yr!
