Any more details on the engine that you just put in?

As for headers, there are afew companies that make good headers for what you just did.

Accufab and Ford Powertrain Applications.

Does Kooks manufacture headers for the classics????

kwkenf 09-16-2011 06:57 PM

No they do not make them. I inquired about custom made ones and they only way would be to have your car at their shop as they have not "templates"

I've heard the FPA header fitment is one of the best for ground clearance and very good quality. They are 775 coated and 575 bare.

SNAKEBITE 09-17-2011 07:23 PM

coated is the way to go, no???

kwkenf 09-17-2011 08:05 PM

Yes coated is the way to go.

I assume this is to keep the heat down or so I have heard

You are correct. It keeps the heat down quite a bit and I've heard it that helps with exhaust flow because the inside of the headers are smoother.

This is true and a big plus is the fact that they don't look like absolute junk after a few months of use.
