Well when I am able to see what the car has for pulley setup (or possibly blower set up?) I'll be able to give you a general idea of the power level.

You are going to need a hand held tuner if the car is heavily modified, OR if you're not comfortable with data logging and reflashing the ECM yourself, you should make an appointment to see a tuner somewhere in the Montreal or Ottawa area to make sure that the car is running within acceptable limits.

Anyway, I'll be able to give you a better idea of the urgency of a tuning session once I can identify some of the mods.

I do know of a good shop in Montreal, they will be able to help you, should you decide to have the car tuned.

I know exactly the feeling you're talking about. This is a Corvette killer in disguise. Those who know what they are are SHOCKED to see them, especially in Canada.
As for ModularFords, there's a lot you need to learn about these cars to take care of them properly, this is my third Mustang, and it requires a lot more knowledge to maintain than any of the others ever did. They're more tempermental, but the power IS worth it. It is the best car I've ever had.
I will be taking a trip to Toronto with my Cobra this summer, and will be visiting my brother in Ottawa. I would love to drop by, and see your car!
