Installed e-brake boot and matching shifter boot. Replace the head unit with a Pioneer AVIC-X910BT DVD/GPS. Installed an "A" pillar gauge pod. Suspension Tokico HP Struts and Shocks. Eibach Pro Kit (lowers it 1.5"). J&M Lower Control Arms. UMI Performance Lower Control Arm Relocation Brackets. Plans for Winter 2010/2011 Next summer my plans are to get into the 11's on the 1/4 mile run. With this new setup I should have anywhere from 540-580bhp. This works out to somewhere around 450-480whp. Engine ATI 1FP214-SCI Procharger Reinstall stock pulleys Driveline Moser 31 spline Axles FRPP 31 spline Traction - LOK Limited Slip Differential w/ Carbon Discs Shaftmasters aluminum drive shaft J&M Adjustable upper control arm Exterior Black billet grille to delete the fog lights Possibly powder coat the rims Nitto NT-05R Drag radials - 285/40/18 And That should be it...... I think. Here it is at the dealership before I bought it. Attachment 20459 First thing I did was have the windows tinted. I went with 13% SolarGard all around. It's hard to see in this picture cause it was raining. Attachment 20460 Installed Tokico HP struts and shocks as well as Eibach Prokit Springs. This lowers it 1.5". I also tinted the front and rear side markers. Attachment 20461 MBRP Axlebacks Attachment 20462 I Was having an issue with "wheel hop" so I ordered J&M lower control arms which solved it. Attachment 20463 Now some people think I am crazy but I hate leather seats. So I ordered new OEM cloth covers and swapped them. Here is the original grey leather seats. Attachment 20464 And here is they new black cloth ones. They are still a little wrinkled from packaging. Attachment 20465 I wanted to change the carpet to match the black seats. I was worried how the black would look but I think it turned out nice since there is quite a bit of black in the interior to begin with. Attachment 20466 Installed e-brake boot in place of the plastic Ford uses. Also a matching shift boot. Attachment 20467 CDC Shaker system. Attachment 20468 CDC Front Lip and Agent 47 mirrors Attachment 20469 Roush Spoiler Attachment 20470 New Wheels Attachment 20471 Changed the map light and visors and dyed the headliner black. Dude, looks sweet.Awesome job on all you've done! How do you like the Ford Racing Hot Rod cams?
|
I love the idle of them. They don't really do much if anything performance wise though.

Decent build dude, looks awesome. For the money you spent on those cams I'd hope for a better comment than that - are you saying they're not worth the cash?

Here's my 3-2-3 shift this past weekend that screwed my diff.
YouTube - ‪3-2-3- Misshift‬‎ |
Nice smooth run!If you had a good tire that could stick reeeeaaaal good, and allow you to launch at a higher rpm,12's would be yours all day!!:tup
That sucks about the 3 to 2 downshift.Didn't sound good at all!!:bleh: |
Yeah but the more I break now.... The less I will break with the procharger. Installing a new LSD and new axles with the new gear.
|
nice car !

I am picking up a set of Mickey Thompson slicks and don't want to snap an axle. That's the main reason for the upgrade. Plus figure while it's apart no better time. I have been thinking about picking up a tranny from a wrecker and rebuilding it since I am sure that will be the next thing to go.

MBRP Exhaust
How do you like the MBRP Exhaust? I have them on the 08 GT and sound great. Nice 304 Stainless all the way through, That muffler is built in Huntsville got mine through the muffler man. very happy with it:tup
|
Well I had never heard of them before. A friend of mine owns a performance shop and was in talking with him and he had these hanging on his wall. Got them for a good price. I love em.

Today I installed the boost, fuel pressure and afr gauges. With with glowshift cause I wanted to be able to have green lighting to match mine. Plus I could not bring myself to spend $600 + on gauges. I hate the gauge pod so I ordered a complete pillar from Speed of Sound
Attachment 20454 Attachment 20455 |
Nice stuff!!
You'll love the Speed of Sounds pillar set up.I have in my GT.They use an actual factory pillar, and add there own styled pods to it.Keeps it factory clean.:tup |

is it a centrifugal blower you are using?if so why not keep the shaker hood and hook up the air to the blower inlet/filter?what hood did you decide to go with?
|
Yeah it's a procharger. I would of done that had the shaker not sold. I just got a stock hood for now but thinking about a trufiber or cervini.
|
New hood might be a bit of weight savings, but not sure how well it will do on the highway! :lol Kidding dude, rims look killer, you're building a real stealth bomber!!

|
I am actually considering leaving it as is now.
