I thought I read it had something to do with vibrations but could be wrong.

Decided to go a different route with the clutch. Initially I had a Kevlar clutch disc but after reading up on it it's geared more to a car that sees a lot of track with some daily driving. They tend to overheat in stop and go city driving. This does not wreck it but it does glaze it meaning I would have to break it in again. I decided on a Carbon/Kevlar. It has Kevlar wool embedded it it and has pretty much the same gripping power as the Kevlar except it is less susceptible to overheating in city driving. Also got the input shaft back today and got the transmission back together.

This is getting interesting, looking forward to a review on the new clutch! What did you name the car "Bullet Proof"??
Thanks for the update

I am hoping by beefing everything up that the weak point is now the rear end. To me that's the easy thing to work on and replacing a snapped axle is an afternoons work. At least that's my thinking.....

Installed the new flywheel, clutch, trans, drive shaft and diff today. Road were dry so I took it for a quick drive and the rear end whine is finally gone! Also no more clunking with the new drive shaft.

Smart looking Mustang! Looking forward to hearing about the Procharger install, Take a few pictures of that chapter as I have a friend who is really interested in going this route with his Triple Black Vert.
