Ok I'll be the bad guy here.....I personally think if you cannot talk on a phone, and drive at the same time, your probably not capable of driving in the first place! Don't get me wrong, I am totally against texting while behind the wheel, or even dialing for that matter, but answering a call, or using a hands free device for dialing isn't, or at least shouldn't be, an issue. Let's be honest here, the majority of people texting and causing accidents, are young drivers, because this whole texting thing, and BBM, Twitter, GPS and whatever else, is all part of their generation, and as normal to them, as grabbing a six pack for the trip home was for me, back in my day, which was probably even more dangerous!

See, I say we go 100% opposite. I think every vehicle should be equipped with a car phone and the license plate should be your phone number. You do something facking stupid and your phone is ringing non stop with people telling you, as colorfully as they can, what a moron you are. You'll see peoples driving habits improve in no time.

For me it's simple if the call comes in, the number is displayed on the gauge cluster, and if i feel I need to take the call, I hit a button on the steering wheel, and talk through the Bluetooth.

Yep, Sync is awesome isn't it. I find that I ignore most calls as they can leave a message and I can call back. I never understood how people find a ringing phone to be such an urgent thing, when you know it's a friend/spouse/parent etc calling with something probably not that important. Business calls I do classify as urgent though.
