Yes, that does suck. I hope that never happens to mine.

The top is repaired and is as good as new! Yeah!! The upholsterer says the staples in the back top bow came loose which resulted in more stress at the glass to top joint when the top was lowered. He repaired the top bow area and then used an epoxy glue on the window joint that took about 8 hours to cure. Hopefully it will last a long time.

Good to hear. Hopefully it didn't set you back too much cash.

If it lasts, it was the best $200. I've spent on this car.

It has been way too long since I posted about my '03 so here is a new tidbit. Back in thread number 67 I described how I adjusted the gas pedal height. (I found that it was too much of a reach to the gas pedal.) As an update, I still find that even with the 3/4 in spacer the pedal is too close to the brake pedal height. So, I have decided that when the car comes out of winter storage in April that I will have one more go at it using a 1/2 in spacer. If this doesn't work then it is back to stock!

As an aside, I almost convinced myself to sell this car since I didn't drive it more than 300 miles last year. How I convinced myself out of selling is by committing to driving it a lot more this year
