2012 V6 exhaust
#12
I tried a pair of Corsas on my V6. The sound quality was great, and true to form...absolutely no drone. The volume on the other hand was just a bit on the wrong side of attention getting for me. Oh well, now they look pretty sitting on the shelf. I've heard that their newer "touring" mufflers are not as loud. I'm tempted.

LOL, indeed! I think I'm leaning towards the Magnaflow - the sound clips I've heard are awesome and the price is amazing (around $500) compared to the likes of Corsa (around $720) and Borla (close to $800)

So, I've been thinking about headers, x-pipe and mufflers for my 2012 V6.
For mufflers, I'd like to get a little more aggressive sound (but not TOO aggressive as there are noise laws here in Calgary). I've heard some sound clips and Magnaflow seemed pretty decent. Some of the Borla stuff is nice but the prices are ridiculous. Corsa has also been mentioned by the guys at Mopac - a lot more pricey than the Magnaflow offering but not as crazy as Borla pricing.
Does anyone have any words of wisdom regarding V6 exhaust ? Thanks in advance!

Has a noticeable exhaust note. If you have the Mustang running and your standing outside of the vehicle you can still have a conversation with someone without raising your voice. The sound is noticeable as your driving (low rumble) but quite noticeable if you punch it to pass. I don't think it should affect the Calgary Bylaw.
