Well I put it in today, and I must say I love it! My initial impressions (no race track time yet, that'll be about another 136 days ):
1. Install was pretty basic. I found someone who put up a "how to" with pics that helped also - http://www.bullittarchive.com/3009.htm
2. I have the handle in the lowest position, shifts are smooth and crisp. Rev matching while coming down through the gears as part of "heel and toe" braking will take a little getting used to, rev a bit higher because you're coming down quicker.
3. No significant change in "cabin noise". Just a bit of a whine in third for some reason, it actually sounds good. :biggrin:
4. Is it a performance mod? You bet! Without pushing very hard (waiting for the track!) I can see that you loose significantly less RPM while changing gears (which makes sense), meaning you can bang through the gears quicker to get the one you need.
