My opinion is you can't blame the manufacturer for aftermarket issues and if there are issues, the aftermarket guys should work it out and get it right. As far as the trans goes I agree but I personally have sold 5 of these cars with 0 issues. When people have problems they tend to plaster them all over the internet. There are way more cars without the issue than with. We also don't know how the problem cars have been driven.

I really hope you're right. I am literally getting a sick feeling in my stomach over all this. I just need to calm down, and wait until I get her out for the year, and see if any issues arise. In case the tranny issue does appear, are there any GOOD aftermarket tranny's out there for the 5.0?

You've got 5 years of warranty on it. They will sort it out by then and if not the aftermarket will be all over it.
