Yap,the 5 speed tremec 3650 issue.Had mine rebuilt twice under warranty.If it happens again,it's out of my pocket!That is when i swap it to a 6 speed!

 

really how long did it last after u got the car that it needed tranny work.

 

Ohhh a 6speed would be awesome. Gas saving for sure... Jw what it cost you for a lowering kit

 

Around 30,000 the first time.Just rough balling it here.This was within the 3rd year i had it i think,then again the following summer.The issue was the hard to shift,and had shift grind.It's an issue Ford new about,and was covering it under warranty providing the warranty didn't run out.The TSB is out there,so any Ford tech should know about the issue if it it shows itself.
