West Cold Air Intake system for 2012 V6

So, I purchased an Airaid Cold Air Intake system for my 2012 Mustang V6. I must say I'm impressed with the throttle response and it seems to have a little more 'oomph' - plus the sound I'm hearing now from the engine is sweet

Got it for $280 from Mopac here in Calgary - American Muscle has it for $270 (plus shipping!!) so the deal from Mopac is a good one imo

A few pics of it here

Did you tune it as well? Is it required on the 6?

Actually, I didn't have to tune with this particular Airaid CAI.
Been considering a tuner cause I'm insatiably curious what it might do for the 3.7L

A tuner will smooth out the shift points. I'd recommend a Brenspeed SCT Tune....but that just me.

Apparently they respond quite well but if it removes your speed limiter don't drive it too fast. There have been some high speed driveshaft failures on the 3.7.
