I need to change a header latch on my 95 vert and cannot find anything on it in any mustang forum I know of Canadian or U.S.When I latch it down I am guessing it is some sort of cam that adds the gradual tension on the header but on my driver side it goes down and then pops back up leaving about a 1/8" gap from rubber to top bar no. 1. I found how to adjust the length and height of the roof ( info available on request) but not a peep on the #@$%^&%^^ latch

 

Drive the car to the local Auto Repair Shop, since I can't see the broken part, I'm assuming its metal, If the Repair Shop can't fix it, then go to a Machine Shop. If the broken part can't be welded, ask them if they can fabricate a new one for you. Don't give up, there are so many ways to fix things. You can also ask the people you come in contact with for suggestions. Good luck and that's a nice classic, keep it running.
