I look forward to it. Emailed the mustang shop last night and got suggested
"Your car, if original, will have a single exhaust and the best gain from exhaust mods will be to create a true dual exhaust system comprising the headers (shorty non-equal length) an x pipe and a catback system. You will also need a dual hump crossmember to allow space for the exhaust pipe on one side. This system will help with performance and also change the sound. The actual change will be a function of which catback you chose."
Anyone able to put that into layman's terms for me?

what part ...... lol. baically he said to get the headers , they call them shorties and equal length , as the exhaust tubes from each side are equal length. the x pipe is between the headers and the mufflers. the cross member hes talkin about is the transmision crossmember. i you look at the trans it sits on a crossmember that should have 2 humps in it to clear the exhaust. if yours only has 1 you will need to get one. then 2 mufflers , i liked my flowmaster dual chamber 40's but when you got on the gas it was agressive and muscle car sound and in my opinion they are built for mustangs , especially the 5.0l...... and then some. lol. they also had a slight drone at certain rpm. basically it could be anoying to others but i loved it. then tail pipes.

Nearly anything you do is pretty much bolt on. You could also do Heads and Intake since they are a bolt on.
Always keep your stock parts so it can be switched back at anytime.
K&N Air Filter was mentioned I recommend NOT running there air filters they are hack and junk I would recommend running a AMSOil Air filter no oil BS, and you cant see the daylight threw them lol.
Just stick with OEM Ford Motorcraft plugs gapped for your appropriate application, my 302 was 0.52" stock but thats in a 94'.
You have very low K's You might even be able to start off with a Semi-synthetic "AMSOil" them move forward to a FULL synthetic "AMSOil" Oil.
Pulley's Yes you can actually feel the extra 15HP you gain. This is a must do!
A MSD Ignition would really help the spark as well.
You could even bump your timing up to 14* Adv. "Free HP" higher octane will be required if you get PING.
There is many more like Exhaust that was already mentioned, this is also a must.....We cant tell you what to get other then Long tube headers....There is was to many companies out there that serve so many different mufflers some say Flow master then theres serier 40, 50 etc.... Then theres dynomax, and magnaflow, the list goes ON AND ON..........Good luck.
You come to the right forum, great bunch of guys great bunch of information.

If you do headers make sure they are long tubes, and make sure they are ceramic coated...
I went with chrome cause I love the color effect but OMG I have to constantly baby sit them so they don't rott out thank god for krown rust proofing sure does help.
Other then all the smoke it gives off it works lol
