I found article on web, about how crappy our gasoline really is and aint't getting better.adding synthetic 2 stroke injection oil as you fuel up 1 oz per 5 gal, lubricate your fuel pump, injectors, intake track, just good all around protection,,,,actually runs quiter, smoother and slight increase in mpg,

All 87 generic regular made by any canadian refinery for sale in Canada has to meet a specific spec. It is then either sold as unbranded with no additives (usually sold at non major branded retail sites). Most of the majors sell their gas with an additive package that is beneficial to mpg as well as cleans injectors, reduces carbon buildup on the valves and so on. Octane increasing additives are added to 87 to boost it up to the higher rating numbers. Even ultra low sulphur diesel is much cleaner than the regular diesel of a decade ago that was packed full of sulphur. Personally, I always use an additive every couple of tanks of gas as well as gas line anti freeze in the winter months (to deal with moisture in the tank). Never had any issues with clogged injectors or fuel filters. |

seafoam is AMAZING STUFF...put one third in oil one third in gas and one third in a vacuum line...as far as vacuum line goes let the engine suck it up thru the brake booster line .Once its sucked up shut off car and let sit for about 20 mins then take it out for a high rpm run. Then carbon it dislodges is unreal and it disolves sludge in crankcase...my mustang when i bought it had 120000 kms,it stumbled a bit at idle so i followed the directions on can and it runs as good as new so i decided to put it in my 99 silverado with 245000 kms and the black gunk from my tailpipe told the story for me.To keep internals and vacuum system spotless use it every 3rd oil change...jmo....go to bob is the oil guy forum and see the stuff the engineers there have to say ....

I use fuel injector cleaner in my Fusion every once in a while.
My 65 does not get anything. |
Seafoam seems like a popular choice

I find I gather negative vibs when i say,Yes,,,,x1 oz per 5 gal gas,full synthetic 2 stroke oil,all pluses,no negative so far.
-good for lubricating fuel pump, injectors, internal engine[no dry starts or washing away oil]slight increase in mileage, smoother running and this has been tested by another group of Techs,so your not a guinne pig,Our gasoline is crap and the ethanol is no help,it attracts water,I could go on, If you love your baby??? |
