the problem is there are plenty of people that think mustangs are the cream of the crop, 1low03gt, i couldnt agree more, its just a mustang and regardless of year its the bottom of the barrel interms of a sports car. i could never figure out the attitude that many people carry with owning a mustang, almost like they own some rare exotic super car. and its that attitude that has stopped me from attending mustang specific events, and even more or less turned me off them all together,, its sad to cause there was a time when i felt invincible in mine....now , i wonder if people assume i am one of those mustang guys lol

well il fight them with you lol
i mean i like them, and im sure once i get the ambition to get mine done ill enjoy it again
but truth be told id rather have my 64 falcon VAN finished than my mustang, damn my wife and her love of these bloody cars

^^^ Couldn't agree more. I don't want to slam Mustang owners (I am one of course) and it's guys like us that make this hobb what it is, BUT, I gotta tell you ... a few summers ago I was driving home late from work one day and I pulled into a Tims for a cup of coffee. There were a TON of cars in the parking lot - it was like a car show. The Mustang guys gave me almost angry stares when I pulled in with the 5.0. Funny enough it was the guys driving Camaros and Firebirds that walked over and wanted to know more about the car. Not sure where the "Mustang" attitude comes from.
