Usually, it's best to let a pro do it for you! Go see Deigo at DaSilva racing. He did mine last summer.

If all your after is the generic tune that comes with the tuner 10-15 hp
you dont need to seek professional help its pretty simple when sitting in the car
below the dash by your right knee theres a code reader port just plug the diablo
in and follow the prompts like Tear said it holds your hand and walks you through it.

IMPORTANT: make sure ALL electical devices in the car are turned off (stereo, lights, etc.) close your doors and lock them my brother opened my car door on me and the track when i was modifying my tune between rounds and the diablo had a brain fart and my car wouldnt start i had to reinstall the factory tune
then start all over from scratch with my tune that i had (i never wright down what actually works that would be smart and easy) other than that any problems PM
or email me or tear also

Simple combos typically take 2-2.5 hours, and more elaborate set ups, around 4 as long as there are no mechanical or wiring issues. I frequently encounter bad installs, wiring, and improper sensor location. I wont tune around these issues as some tuners do, and i will charge accordingly for my time to ensure the job is done properly.
I've trained with Jerry @ SCT and Greg Banish of seimans VDO. I have 10 years experience in the industry, and over 6 years calibrating Ford Vehicles.
I currently charge $100/hr.
