quad shocks removal?
Is there any problem with removing my quad shocks before I upgrade the control arms?
I can remove the quad shocks tonight but will likely not replace the stock control arms for a week or two depending on when I can get an appointment to install.

I ran 18x9 Cobra R's on my '91 LX with no rubbing issues out back. I had the rubbing on the control arm up front as well, but only on full turn. I was running 225-40-18s up front and later ran 265-35-18s out back (they were 225s out back at first). My car was 5 bolt disc/drum but the offset didnt change, and it wasnt very low. I believe it was only lowered an inch all around.

That Dech vert is sweet!
I took off the quads and moved the parking cables so no problems out back anymore. I could probably get away with 255 or 265 easily now...not sure about 275 though.
Put one rack limiter on each side in front so no problem now.
