I hope my search doesn't end with me finding out its been parted out lol.

I had been checking car show records, winners, pictures, etc... because before I was born, my dad had won numerous shows and even had the car featured in a few magazines. I was hoping the current owner would attend shows as well, but that idea hasn't turned up much.

Just thought I'd give a little update to my search for those who are interested.

About a week ago I ordered a 2011 Boss Registry off of ebay, and received it today. I don't want to give away any personal information, but I did a quick google search of the owner of the car at that time, which returned one result.

The car was originally a Grabber Orange, and my dad had painted it the candy apple red; a mistake I know. I was very surprised to see that the "current" owner had restored the car to it's original color!

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about that, but the car still looks beautiful so for the time being I'm just glad that I was able to obtain another piece of the puzzle.

Wow !
And hello everyone.
Just like jaiello88 I'm looking for my mum's powder blue 1966 convertible purchased in Toronto by my dad in 1965/6. All I have is the original registration number. It was exported to England and then taken to Germany to sell. We have no idea in which country it might be in now. So any ideas would be much appreciated !
thanking all who respond in advance.

Returning the car to its original color is a smart move if they are concerned with value. If it is a real boss 302, its worth a fair bit of coin. The closer to how it was originally manufactured is, the more its worth in the collector market. Painting it a different color may have looked nicer to your dad, but it would have significantly devalued the car...

Nice thought, but OP hasn't signed on since 2013, and the chick from the UK is out to lunch.

I've learned on this site that you really have to pay attention to the dates of the threads, and the ones that bring them back to life. LOL
