I agree with your 2 choices in shops but won't make any statements on the second part of your quote!!

No problem PO10 sir you don't need to make any sort of statement regarding my second quote, there are some of us who know better and unfortunately some of us who will never know. Good luck to them and I hope they get their sight back very soon.

There's no sense beating around the bush, if you've had a problem, let us know! This isn't the GTAMC

- had to pay for dyno time when they tried to re-tune the car.
- bolts on the engine not tightened.
- distributor was not bolted down properly (hand tight).
- vacuum hoses not hooked up.
- sloppy work and no attention to detail
- I paid over $3600 for parts/labour and in the end I was not happy with the work and they knew it and did nothing about it except tell me the car was fine.
I had the worst experience of any of the shops and I've been to most of them for one thing or another and they were the worst hands down. I should of known something was up when I noticed that the tuner guy did not know how to set the timing on a 5.0L motor because it wasn't something that could be done on the laptop like the 4.6L.
If you ever hear me complain about a shop or a person it's going to be from experience and not cuz I want the attention, we all work very hard for our money and cars and it hurts like hell when a shop screws you the way they did and they get away with it. :

This was a 1½ month ordeal so it wasn't just one bad day at the shop. Also I've noticed that a lot of the Mustang guys don't really work on their own cars so you won't see the crap job they do.
Before my car got to their shop it did not blow one buff of white smoke but half an hour on their dyno and the shop filled with white smoke, so to answer your question YES it was professionally blown.
Now my car has been tuned by a guy in the USA and what a difference experience makes, the way the car drives now is no where near the way it drove after JR. tried to tune it twice. It was funny listening to the other JR. give me all these sad excuses why my car drove like and it wasn't the tune he would say, SCT would tell me another story.
Of all the shops in the GTA and the surrounding area their shop is the one I hear the most bad stories about, I guess that's what happens when a non mechanic opens up a speed shop and tries selling you parts because of what he reads on the box and not from experience.
As I mentioned in my first post there are only 2 shops I trust PSP and Nick's Automotive, Paul builds race cars that you'll see at the track and Nick he's a great guy and knows a lot about Mustangs.

With that said, I was pissed off at the way they handled my car failing the e-test. The car was tuned 3 times prior and then when it was to be corrected, I had to pay full pop for a tune I was told on numerous occasions would pass. Needless to say, the car never went back.
In regards to your comments about a non-mechanic opening a speed shop, you're either ignorant to the situation or trying to sell your story a little better. You know very well that Steeda.ca merged with MPW, very capable mechanics run MPW. Pat nor Paul worked on your car with the exception of tuning.
Steeda.ca started with a great reputation and it appears that getting bigger has affected their customer service and workmanship. The Steeda.ca of old would go out of their way to help customers but it seems that attitude is no longer present.
Moral of the story, there are good and bad stories about every shop! Everyone makes mistakes but it's how they correct their mistakes that sets the good apart from the bad.
