need tire recommendation
Falken 912 is a decent tire too, probably a wash between those and the Kumhos.
The BFG Radial T/As have been revised slightly over the year, they are probably on their 5th or 6th generation now. Remember this tire originally came out in the mid 1970s! They can get away with not upgrading them, because classic musclecar and hot rod owners seem to think that they are the only tire that looks suitable on their cars. My boss's 67 Mustang GTA 390 had BFGs on the stock 14" wheels, they were getting hard from age even though they had lots of tread remaining. We put a fresh set of Firestone Indy 500 rubber on it last year, much better ride, noise level, and grip.
Other reason why the BFGs are still popular, is that they are one of the few name brand tires that are still available in the traditional sizes to fit the 50s / 60s / 70s cars. They are a basic S-speed rated mild performance all-season tire. I wouldn't recommend them for an 80s Fox that original came with V-rated high performance rubber, you can do better.

Those are maybe older stock I'm thinking. When I look at the July 2011 issue of the printed Pirelli catalogue, the largest 60-series 15" they show in the P6 is a 205. The P6 is a decent tire too, if they are in fact available in 225/60R15 I would take them over the BFG T/A for a Fox.

Getting a set of BF Goodrich Advantage T/A 235/60R/16 installed today. Decision was based on two points - great ratings for braking, handling - traction, comfort and wear. The other was cost in not having the cash for new expensive rims to go with a larger tire size such as an 18 inch rim. Also there is a 6 year warranty on these tires. The original BF Goodrich Traction 215/65R/16 tires lasted 8 years...not bad in my opinion for spirited driving. I also wanted a North American tire on a North American vehicle.
P.S. found out that Michelin and Goodyear are the same company.
