new auto shifter

What do you people think about this new automatic shifter that was in the mustang and fast fords mag?

I think it's kinda cool. I'm sure lots of people with auto's would be interested in it. I think it sticks up from the console a little too much.

I also think it sticks up too high and it would look better if you could see some of the shifter instead of all boot. It's kinda lame if they are trying to make people think that the car is a manual. It's good to see some options out there for auto cars though.

Not for me. The slapstick styling is what makes the automatic special IMO.
