Pirelli PZero Nero

Well, P Zero's are primary a summer tire, and it's where they perform best... when temps drop below 50c the thread compounds "stiffen"and begin to loose grip.
Comparing these tires to a set of Michelin's of equal size/thread width,I personally liked the P Zero more by a fair margin,I found the Michelins spun out easier under the same hp/tq load compared to these, also the lower content silica in the Michelins escalated wear.Teionic silica is pretty much microscopic silica, which is what is found in the P Zero's. Compound silica is a coarser grained size, with a larger surface area, less silica, faster wear.

Pirellis P Zero
I am wondering how these tires will cope spending a few months of winter storage. A friend of mine told me that over the years he has left his 06 GT in the garage with the car on the cement without any problems.
He backs it up once in a while to keep them happy.
The alternative is to put the car on stands, difficult to say the least.
Any tips on winter storage are welcome.
Absolutely love the car.
