I didn't want to sound like a jerk at all, i am one of those guys that at one time got attached to my cars, but as i grew in this hobby i realised that rust can not be stopped unless the area was replaced from seem to seem like factory.
I hope that's all you have for an issue for sure. Rust likes to hide.
Once you do the sandblasting, you will have a way better view at deciding what to do.:tup

heyy has anyone ever tried 'POR 15' im thinking of cleaning up my floors of the car and im probably gonna put some of this stuff down on it

Only down side that I see is that If I ever wanna take it off it's gonna take for ever lol. The paint of POR15 turns to a hard ceramic.

soo im deep into my project now.. and was wondering if anyone knows if they sell a piece that i could replace my door jam with... i dont wanna risk leaving rust under there that i never saw.. got a lot of work to do before this pony will ever be out again..
