Question seat belt access

My seat belt on the passenger side won't release.

What happened was I saw that the belt was twisted so it wouldn't wind back up, so I went to flip it over and as I did it went another rotation and then rolled back into the holder for it and now it won't come out at all now.

I'm trying to figure out how to take out the panel so I can get to where the seat belt winds up to but it's such a large peice and seems to be connected to so many things I'm worried about breaking something.

Until I get it fixed I cannot take a passenger which means I cannot drive it anymore to work

Can anyone help me out with how to get it out?

white snake, thanks for the info, picked up your post on gtamc.

this wouldn't be a recall, the belt went in twisted and now it won't come out so it should be simple fix.

I haven't attempted it yet, I'm sure it'll take me awhile. I'm putting it away for the winter this weekend so I'll try it then.

Thanks again.
