SLP exhaust
Hi guys im getting evrything ready for my mustang ive been doing alot of research on performance parts. My 2004 mustang gt arrives in december and i want to install the whole exhaust on it while its parked during the winter. Ive done my hw and im pretty sure im going to go with SLP. Long tube SLP headers, SLP catted shorty x-pipe, and SLP catback loudmouth 1. The louder the better as far as im concerned but i was wondering if anybody has this setup or something similar. I just want your thoughts and/or first hand experiance of this setup. THNX

Just put SLP long tubes, catted X pipe and LM 1's on my son's 03 Mach 1, it is loud and raspy, I've got LM 1's on my 03 Mach as well but I have a custom built H pipe with cats instead and Hooker long tubes, I believe mine has a lower tone. Here is a bit of a video he took recently of his (red) and one he took of my car (black) while it was being dyno tuned at Steeda.

Dude, those are some kick *** videos - love the shots on the red Mach, and that dyno run with the black one was off da hook!! Damn, you could use those rear tires on a paving rig they're so wide! Outstanding.

Here is another vid from an 03 Mach. This video got me hooked on SLP. The SLP sound is not for everyone and there are some that say they only got into Mustangs after the Camaro got shut down, but I still like them!
So with the vids that I have put up and the ones that Bob posted for us, you should be able to judge if you like them or not. They will sound a little different on a 2 or 3 valve but not that drastic of a change. They are loud if that is what turns your crank!
And here is mine at idle with cams. This is posted somewhere on here but I thought I would bring it back to life. Been awhile since I was at the track!
