Lets just say, an experiment went bad. I tried the clear corner modification. Needless to say, it didn't work out very well.

I think I have some forgiveness left with the performance Gods. The VT engine and cams seem to have helped :)

For anyone considering the headlight modification, here's some points to consider.

Not all ovens are accurate in terms of temperature. I think mine was hotter than it was set at. (Older stoves tend to do this) The first lense came appart with ease but due to the heat, there was some surface spidering on the lense which I thought I could wet sand out. It didn't come out with a wet sand.

The second lense was a complete disaster. Dispite being careful, the lense broke as did the black backing. I repaired the lense only to have the same problem with spidering, something wet sanding didn't help.

Just be careful when you do it and make sure you have an extra $130 in case things don't go very well

If you have a 99+ car...up until this year you could rent even a V6 and swap them out, not that I know anyone who did this...
