When I step on the gas from idle something starts ticking until about 1500rpm and then it goes away. If I brake torque I'll hear that too for a few seconds and it feels like I'm launching in 2nd gear. There's absolutely no power down low from a stop. Could this noise be my torque converter? If it is, it would explain the fact I only hear it until the stall speed.
