So, what do you guys think? A friend of mine forwarded me this ad for a Ford Supercoupe Eaton M90 Supercharger. It's about $2,000.00 - which I know is pricey for an M90 as used units sell for about $200.00 - but it's brand new and that's still 1/2 the cost of any other blower on the market for the 3.8L. What do you guys think? It's not M112 Cobra blower - but it does save me having to do a split port swap and we get a whipple!

I figure I wouldn't even have to get the rest of the setup if I take it to Morana Racing and have him make me an intercooler bypass kit - less power than a Procharger by far but it would be different.

What do you guys think? Should I just save the money and get a Procharger?

Wouldn't you have to buy the rest of the stuff to make it work, which will cost more dollars in the end.Just wondering?
With most aftermarket kits (like Procharger) come complete,or close too so the install is hassel free.

there is no way that unit is new. if so, VERY rare. but for that kinda change, buy an entire m90 setup and port the eaton. (easy job). wont be smokin super fast but with a power pack from ssm, rear gears, and a good tune. you'd have a good shot at rippin a gt or two
also i just want to add, in MY opinion (cause that's all it is lol) i wouldn't run a blower without an intercooler/heat exchanger, or meth injection. because it defeats the purpose. tokeep intake heat down you'd have to run a bigger pully, lowering boost, thus lowering your peak HP gains from the blower. specially true if it will be regularly driven (i'm guessing it will be). hope it helps you with your choice. but none the less. i vote M-90 swap

So, I picked up the car from the body shop today. They had installed the rear bumper cover / facia, lined up some other body panels a little better and took out a few dings in the body. She's pretty much ready for paint - I think that'll be next (along with a new set of rims - there are some pictures a few posts up). I've attached some pictures for you guys - I know how much you likey the pics!
