What to buy: Saleen Vs. Cobra
I miss my Mustang and i NEED another fun car to play with. i was thinking of selling my Jetta and only having an EXT Escalade but i really think that i need a toy car. so the Jetta stays and im really considering
an 03/04 CObra Convertible or i was considering a Saleen S281 also?
i was just wondering on opions here what is better - the Cora is faster? what is better to "do up" re-sale?
any advice, thanks

I did some more research
the Saleen is a beefed up GT Dual OHC compared to the CObra with 4 valves a cylinder, and independant rear suspension...
i found an old Thread with someone saying they can buy an 04 Cobra with 10000 k's or less for around 25000 - right now they go for $30000 +

Personally, I don't think you can go wrong either way. Find one that "speaks to you" and will give you joy to drive - who cares what everyone else thinks. Never worry about re-sale, because you'll take a hit regardless of what you're driving, it's a car remember? And you're buying it for yourself to drive and enjoy, not keeping it nice for the next guy - that's what I can never figure out about these guys that buy 'em and park 'em. I mean hey - it's your money, do as you wish. Either way - good luck with the search dude. Great spot to be in, to be debating Cobra VS Saleen, and prices certainly work for the buyer these days. My only input would be to go with black!!! lol Have fun with it!

I would be basing my decision on looks, power, comfort and resale value.
I truly like the '03s
and they are going cheap.
You might want to avoid buying Canadian, check the US market out. May save a ton. Make sure the car checks out on RIV for importation as well.
