easy, the fuse panel... remove a fuse that receives Accessory power such as the 10AMP radio fuse, and tap that.

(by tap, i mean run the bare copper around one of the blades of the fuse, and re-install the fuse, or you could use an "add a circuit" from Canadian Tire, but they take up too much space and are ugly the 1st way looks much cleaner and is so easily hidden.)

I tapped into one of the rear defrost wires that was controlled by the headlight dimmer so my gauge dims if I dim the dash lights. Not sure if your Mach has one though.. or if it changed for that year.

Like Mark said, easiest way is right into the fuse. You could also put it in the cigarette lighter wire that way you have constint power when the car is on or key is in.

If you put it in your DRL's then youll only get power to the guage when the handbrake is down and the car is on tho right? That would kinda suck

The cig lighter wire is hot all the time. I have some stuff hooked up to it and if there's no switch, it'll be on when the car is off.

yeah, that is why i prefer the radio, as long as the key is turned to on, you have juice. If you want the dim function to work, you can splice into the ACTUAL harness of the radio (if you have an aftermarket deck it is easier because there is already an adapter harness; no factory wire cutting needed)

but DRL will work fine, if he's got the car parked and the ebrake is on he won't need to see an aftermarket gauge most likely anyways.
