Just checked out the pics .... that is a nice Saleen. Is she for sale?

I can't for the life of me find those retailers that sold fox style pedals and guages. I can't even find the webpage links in my favorites. I mean, I know you can get em on ebay and such but I know I had links for originals somewhere. I emailed a friend of mine so well see what he says - he's a Fox body Saleen owner too.

I know he emailed Saleen back in 2007 asking if they were going to sell the fox body parts again .... considering the demand for them. I never did hear an answer. I'll ask about that too. Fingers crossed.

So, I've got good news and bad news .....

The good news ....

The websites I gave you are still selling Fox body Saleen parts on mass ....

The bad news ....

They just don't sell what you're looking for.

I know. I know. Not the answer you were hoping for.

Saleen was asked if they had plans to start selling Fox body Saleen parts again. This is the response they gave .....

Not currently no. Almost all of the body parts are still available through various suppliers, but unfortunately most of the other parts such as wheels and seats cannot be made any longer. We had previously looked into bringing some of these parts back which would have required some Saleen owners to let us borrow their vehicles to get drawings and photos of all the old parts (we have nothing, documentation prior to 05 was almost non-existent at Saleen), however, I got zero response on that one and the project was canceled.

I think the consensus was that we would really like to do it and be able to provide those parts but that it just didn't fiscally make sense at the current time (even though there is a good amount of die hard saleen fox guys out there the cost of retooling and such would be high) but we are still open to doing in later in the future.

Sorry Pal, looks like for the speedo cluster and pedals you'll be stuck to ebay, craigslist or kijiji. Keep your eyes open though ... Jems do come up for sale now and again.

Ew. That sucks. Thank you very much for your effort. I'll have to buy ya a beer when I come up to the Barrie hooters for her maiden road trip!! If you could keep your ear to the ground for me for anything you might think I'd want it would be greatly appriciated.

Still want one of those intakes!!!

And an "S" or "T" trim vortech!

Hey no worries Pal. Us Saleen guys gotta stick together. Ill keep my ear to the ground - I'm always on the lookout for Fox body Saleen parts - usually for my buddy Dave's '93 Saleen, but I'll add you to the lookout list!

Make the maiden voyage to Hooters in Barrie and I'll buy the beers. We can show off our Mustangs, trade stories and enjoy the view.
