Just thought I'd say hi!
My current pony is a white and black 2014 V6 manual convertible.
I love her.
Just wish I could get and keep those squished bugs off her grill.
Any suggestions.

I use Turtle Wax Bug and Tar Remover on both my Mustangs. Spray on then let it sit for a few minutes. Scrub off with a wash mitt in preferably warm water. Also helps to wax the grille...makes it easier to remove the bugs the next time. Oops... and welcome to the site.

Thanks for the tip. I will try that. Just tired of breaking nails when trying to scrape them off. Or I could not drive at night

No problem. The site exists to help each other out. Never use finger nails to take anything off your vehicle. You can get a bug and tar scrub pad at Canadian Tire. If your on Facebook look me up.

Well I just finished giving her the once over. I even put the cowl (sp?) on her and she looks hot. Now on my way to Cdn tire to find the bug stuff.

Congrats and welcome Darlene. I find the best cure for those pesky bugs is to blast them off at the power wash before they have a chance to dry. I bought a power washer for the home , so its super easy to fire it up and blast the bugs off on a regular basis, especially immediately after a long road trip. Even if I'm out of town, I'll hit the power wash just to blast them away. Another good preventive measure is to keep a healthy coat of wax on the front end, if they can't stick to the paint, easier to get off the paint.

I can vouch for the Turtle Wax Bug and Tar remover. Been using it for years, works pretty good on a white car that bugs really show on.

It works pretty good on tar too.

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately the deceased insects had been on the grill for a few days, not to mention it being really hot out. So I should have said they were baked on. (I used to have a power washer....

I've got a few tar spots on the pony decals that run along the door bottoms. I've been afraid to use anything on it for fear it will damage the sticker. Thoughts?
