Shouldn't damage the stickers. What I would do is place a small amount of the Bug and Tar Remover on a microfiber towel and gently rub it back and forth until it comes out.

use used dryer sheets. they must be used. dip in water and gently rub the bugs off. wash off after. use the sheets after rinsing but before washing
