New guy in Winnipeg

Hey everyone, just stopping in to say hi. I've had my eyes set on a '99-04 GT for some time, just wanted to get in on the Canada 'stang scene and learn about what I'm getting into before I make the plunge.

Thumbs up

Welcome to CMOC from Brighton, Ontario. We're about 1.5 hrs east of "The Big Smoke", Trona, T., Toronto......

Is Manitoba really "Flatter than sheep **** on a plate?" or are people jerkin' my chain?

Only to the north and south of Winnipeg, 100kms to the East it's all Shield country like the Lake Of The Woods area, then it does it again about 100kms shy of the MB-SK border at the continental divide or whatever. So there's hills and scenery and stuff, but when I'm in my office 25 floors up, I can see the entire city and outlying farmland. And yeah, just outside the city, you could fire a rifle and not hit anything but dirt or trees.

Welcome! It's great to see fellow Winnipeggers on the forum.
If you are interested in the local Mustang scene check out the Manitoba Mustang and Ford Association at:
http://www.manitobamustang.com/main.html.
We have a number of members with 99-04 GTs. I own a 03 Mach 1. If you are interested feel free to come to the meeting next week.
I don't know what you're looking for, but here is a local Bullitt for sale in the Trader:
