Am purchasing a 1996 3.8 standard, dark green in color and immaculate condition. It's going to be my spring-> fall car, and my current cav. is going to be my winter beater as i just put $1000 into it for trans. and suspension work, i've put to much into it to sell now.

it has the 2.4 but was auto, it had just enough power to get me into trouble when i first got it (4 tickets in the first year ) but i'm alot better now at controlling myself, and have been a part of the JCO (J-body Club of Ontario) for 3 years now

I'm 21 and I drive a dump truck for a living, it's my daily driver
Has the Cat C15 ACERT, 475 HP at 1700 RPM, 1550 ft/lbs tq @ 1250 RPM
Twin turbo , i get red necked all the time for being so young and driving a $150,000 truck

I bought the mustang to be a realible daily driver to work, that wasn't going to cost me much money, i can now see that's going to change

heres an idea..when the Boss is not around, take off 1 turbo from the truck and put it on the stang
each will have a turbo

The most I've had to do to my 94 V6 was get new bushings for the front end. Otherwise in over 3 years the car has been great.

get bigger turbos on the dumper! i wanna see 1000 horses and 3000 pound feet of tourque.

 

i've seen a daily driven truck that the week before the one truck show they take it in the shop and boost it up to 1000 hp before the drag races, traction IS an issue

i'll post some pics of the truck shows i've been to and some of the drag racing pics when i get soem time in the next week or 2

 

get biz and me on the 5th wheel and traction issues will vanish like a cheap hooker after you notice your kidney is gone :biggrin:
