If you go with a big drop like Eibach Sportlines or something similar, you may have some trouble getting the camber back to a setting that doesn't chew up the insides of the tires. With a standard drop like 1-1/2"ish, H&R or Eibach Pro-Kit for example, you should be OK.

cheers

I know that the Eibach Sportlines are for coupes only, while the Eibach Pro Kit is for verts, and coupes. Probably due to the weight of the vert, and the huge drop from the Sportlines is why Eibach does not recommend them unless you have a coupe.
But like what Ed stated, with the 1 1/2 drop, you will be just fine with just the springs, but make sure to have your alignment checked afterwards.
Later on if you want to get the most out of the drop, you can add caster camber plates, aftermarket shocks, and struts, ects....

Used Eibach's on a number of vehicles - Sportlines and Pro Kit. I've always been happy with them.

I have my 02 convertible lowered with Eibach sportline and my 04 mach 1 with the Eibach proline I like the look of the sportline but I had to instal CC plates . On the 04 the proline did not lower it as much so no CC plates . With the way the roads are here and all the tank traps in malls I would go with the prolines just because of the CC plates and the bad roads . Either way you can't go wrong

I would just go without but monitor the front tires. If you start to see any irregular wear get a set of plates and get it aligned.
