I am not going to get my 5.3L engine build finished this year, well the engine will get done but not the rest of the drive train (read tranny, converter and shaft) so next season for that.
Cool stuff.I've often thought of going to 4.30's,especially since my GT is cammed, she feels like she could go the extra.

Too busy drivin', not typin...

Seriously, went well and 4.10 was the way to go. Unfortunately I've been battling a driveline vibration at 120-130Km/h. Rebalanced driveshaft with new u-joints and got slightly better. Purchased a new Ford Racing aluminum driveshaft (which DID have to be cut and rebalanced for 2001 Cobra-would not fit my car, almost an inch out). Vibration was reduced a bit but not gone, wondering if I have to have the aluminum shaft rebalanced somewhere or the gear install was not quite right. I am open to ideas...

What about the halfshafts?
And you didn't rebalance the driveshaft after shortenning it?I would've!
